Recipes for entrees in which duckling is the key ingredient can be submitted in separate categories for chefs and culinary students. All finalists will receive travel and accommodations to Chicago for the final competition. Entrée should be presented with only one accompaniment. CELEBRATE YOUR HERITAGE: THE AMERICAN FAMILY RECIPE CONTEST
For Florida residents only. For the launch of the new TV series American Family, a weekly drama that chronicles the lives of a Mexican-American family in East Los Angeles, Channel 2 in Miami has teamed up with Johnson & Wales University to host the American Family Recipe Contest. Channel 2 is looking for main courses that are rich in both heritage and flavor. The contest is open to teams of two family members who are residents of Florida. Children must be at least 10 years old.

JOHNSON & WALES UNIVERSITY "A TASTE OF FLORIDA" HIGH SCHOOL RECIPE CONTEST
"A Taste of Florida" allows Florida high school seniors to demonstrate their culinary talents, while they compete for scholarships and prizes. Seniors may enter in one of two categories: "Dinner for Four," or "Dessert." The recipes for the "Dinner for Four" category must include a fish indigenous to the state of Florida, a Florida fruit and/or vegetable, and a starch; the "Dessert" recipes must include a Florida fruit. A minimum of five and a maximum of 10 finalists will be selected in each category to participate in a cook-off at Johnson & Wales North Miami campus on March 23, 2002.
DEADLINE: 4:30 p.m. on Feb. 18, 2002.
PRIZES: Ten scholarships ranging from $500 to $12,000 toward Johnson & Wales University will be awarded. The Florida Strawberries Growers Association will provide four additional $500 scholarships for the best and most creative use of strawberries in the "Dessert" category.

WISCONSIN MILK MARKETING BOARD "EASY ONE DISH SUMMER SUPPER" RECIPE CONTEST
